Pricing

👤 What counts as a seat?

A seat is any active employee whose instant messages, chats, or AI copilots are monitored by Lowkey's compliance engine. Admin-only or audit-only users don't count toward your seat total.

🔌 Do you offer custom connectors?

Yes. If your team uses channels beyond WhatsApp, SMS, iMessage, Telegram, or WeChat, we can build managed integrations and custom connectors to cover almost any communications platform.

🧪 How are pilots priced and what happens when a pilot ends?

Qualified teams can start a pilot at little or no cost. When the pilot ends, you can roll straight into the plan that fits your size and usage — keeping all the policies, connectors, and settings you've already configured.

⏸️ If we disable a user mid-term, are we still charged for them?

No. Seats are prorated from activation to deactivation and automatically reconciled on your next invoice.

📂 What happens if we stop working together?

You keep control of your data. Export policies, rules, incidents, and logs through the dashboard or API. Once the contract ends, we disable access, disconnect connectors, and stop processing. Data is deleted per your retention settings and our DPA, with backups aging out. A deletion certificate is available on request.

Security

🔒 How is my data protected?

We use industry-standard AES-256 encryption. Each organization gets its own encryption keys, and all data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is tightly controlled with role-based permissions and full audit logging.

📊 What data do you process and how long do you keep it?

Metadata and messages are stored for 30 days to provide reporting on flagged activity.
Violation records are deleted 30 days after an admin acknowledges them.
Retention settings can be customized — messages can be stored for up to 10 years, depending on your organization's compliance requirements.

🧩 Do I need to install anything?

Employees connect WhatsApp, SMS, iMessage, Telegram, WeChat, and even AI copilots through lightweight connectors activated in the Dashboard. Compliance teams don't need to install or manage software — everything runs directly in our dashboard from any modern browser.

🤖 Do you use OpenAI, Claude, or public LLMs?

No. Lowkey runs AI models on dedicated infrastructure we control. Customer data never goes to OpenAI, Anthropic, or any public LLM provider, and is never used to train third-party models.

📈 Do you train AI on our data?

No — we don't use your content to train shared models.
Your data is:

Processed only for features like in-draft compliance checks and policy sync
Encrypted and stored according to your retention settings
Never used to train foundation models

Optionally, you can opt in to tenant-only tuning, where AI is trained specifically for your org — and only your org. These models remain isolated and can be deleted on request.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Are compliance checks isolated from other customers?

Yes. Every tenant is completely isolated — your rules, your keys, your data. Processing happens in-memory, stateless, and scoped to your organization. If you choose to connect external LLMs, calls are routed under your controls, with training disabled.
